Cookies and website storage
Clinic preferences, browser storage and website services.
Clinic preferences
The directory uses session storage in this browser tab to remember up to five clinic identifiers. It does not use that storage for your name, contact details or medical history. This lets you compare clinics without sending the saved list to them.
The saved list normally lasts for the tab’s session; a browser’s session-restore feature may restore it. You can remove individual clinics or clear the list at any time. Clearing saved clinics removes this directory preference, not other cookies or website records.
Searches
Free-text searches stay in the page’s memory. Selected directory filters, such as treatment or city, can appear in the page address.
Website services and monitoring
The website loads Cloudflare monitoring resources for website performance information. These make technical browser requests separately from the saved-clinic list. Requests to the website and its services include connection information such as an IP address, the requested resource and browser information supplied with the request.
WordPress uses cookies for authorised sign-in sessions. Website delivery, security and monitoring services may also use cookies or similar technologies according to the service in use. Clearing the clinic list does not clear those technologies or withdraw data already sent to a service.
You can inspect, block or delete cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Blocking storage can prevent clinic choices from being remembered. Browser controls do not remove information already received by the website or another service.
